Delta Airlines: Passengers enjoy art de la table at 35.000ft
A plane is transforming into an art gallery while flying above the sky so high. The air-carrier initiatives to put some joy and happiness on board by launching new tray tables

Beautiful pictures from cities around the globe like the fresh look of New York weather’s grey mood in London street food of Shangai and the magic nights of Paris were drawn on tray tables of Delta’s aircraft by twelve artist. Hence travelers of this particular plane of the airline will enjoy their meal on an art painted tray table.
Each piece of celebrates themes of optimism, travel refreshment and happiness that artists drew inspiration from some of the most famous airline’s destinations such as Tokyo Amsterdam San paulo Paris and in general top cities from all over the world.
Those artists who have created an art gallery in the sky transforming the tray tables on one of the airline’s 767 aircraft into a one-of-a kind works of art.
James R. Eads from Paris said that:” With its swirling, effervescent night sky portrait of Paris captures the magic of the city at night.”
Norma Bar who comes from London quoted that:” As a London-based artist, I was inspired by the weather and how it affects the mood of the city.
However the air-carrier is planning to display the original at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International so for every passenger who just passes between gates A15 and A11 will have the opportunity to explore not only those pieces of art but also a video footage behind the scenes assets of the artists in action.
According to sources the American air-carrier teamed up with Coca Cola Company as both have been partners since 1927 and the carrier always has on its menu coca-cola drink as refreshment on board and serving more than 345 million per year.
