Jenson Button becomes airline's pilot.
The former world champion formula pilot leaves the wheels of his car and becomes British Airway’s pilots for a while.
According to sources 1 star enjoyed racing but through skies after piloting BA’s A380 flight simulator at Heathrow airport this week.
He made three landings into Hong Kong airport in total while spending 90 minutes perfecting take- off cruise and landings holding the stick of the giant A380 plane.
Having already pilot background knows very well that being pilot is all about calmeness under pressure and preparing properly to get from A to B with safety as it comes first priority at all times.
However Jenson found himself thrilled from this experience and though he travelled all around the world being a trainee pilot was “so cool”.
The 37 years old former world champion said on his statement:” This was the first time I’ve experienced what it’s like to be at controls and it was a pretty incredible feeling.”
Dave Thomas who coached Button before the formula pilot take the control was impressed by his performance and he quoted that” Jenson obviously has experience travelling at high speeds and he adapted well to taking control of the A380.”
The plane which Jenson piloted is a state of the art and BA operates with it all the long haul flights between London and Los Angeles Hong Kong also Singapoure Miami Vancouver.
More than 4,000 professional pilots are trained at British Airways flight training centre which is located near London's Heathrow airport.
