Iran Air: Takes delivery of its first Airbus
New era for Iran Air after delivering of its first Airbus A321. The occasion was celebrating in short ceremony at Toulouze.
Among the participants was the president of Airbus Fabrice Bregier who congratulate Iran air-carrier of taking its first plane by Airbus and commenting: “ we stand ready to support the development and modernisation of Iran Air”.
For Iran Air this agreement of 100 aircraft has begun since October 2015 where announced their new step of fleet modernization along with the new routes that will come after delivering aircrafts.
CEO of Iran Air Farhard Parvaresh explained that” this is a significant milestone that marks step in Iran Air’s ambitious passenger fleet renewal and its stronger presence in international civil Aviation”.
The set of ordered aircrafts consinsting of 46 narrow body aircrafts and 54 of wide body aircrafts and placed by Iran Air December 2016.
Among the plans of Iran Airline is to modernize some 400 to 500 passenger aircrafts and grow its existing fleet to catch up with the years of pent up demand on domestic and international routes .
However the way till the first delivery was not so easy as it sounds. That’s because Airbus and Iran Air has to be through a set of audits and controls in order to take the desirable licenses.
According to US law part of the products of the plane that have producted to USA the government of Us should apply a set of appropriate controls before issue licenses to air-carrier and plane-maker.
Nonetheless as “e-travelair” disclosed earlier December the process successfully came to an end with the licenses issued by the US government body in December 2016 when the agreement sealed
