According to airlines policy last minute booking is painful and could cost a lots of money for an one way flight. That’s because the earlier you book your flight the cheapest fares you will have.
Nevertheless Ryanair ignores this golden rule and awards last minute booking by launching one day 9.99 seat sale for those travelling in January and booking flights in January 5th.
Ryanair’s team had an idea to begin the first week of the year by putting on sales 100.000 seats on 200 routes are on sale until Thursday January 5 midnight (24:00)
But the reason behind this concept hidden on the statement of Ryanair’s spokesman Robin Kiely who said that: “What a better way to brighten up the first week back at work than to book a sun or city January break and to help we launched one day offer sale so our customers should log on to the Ryanair.com and book a January break to look forward to right away”.
