Delta Airlines: Provides the best workplace


The Airline awarded for the second year in a row

Employees of Delta Airlines has casted their votes to the air-carrier as the best place to work and landing at No 21 on the list of the 50 large companies. However Southwest Airline is also a great place for workers and put its name on the list but behind Delta's at No 28.

Volunteers and employees participating on annually Glassdoor's survey has reviewed the airline regarding the company culture packages and salary along with their professional experience.

After survey came to an end- in October 2016 starting in November 2015- Glassdoor site gathered all reviews and took into consideration the clues emerged from survey to make the list of the best place to work 2017. So the final list based on Glassdoor's proprietary algorithm and takes into account quality, quantity and consistency of reviews.

"The employee experience and company culture are critical considerations for job seekers everywhere when deciding where to work" said Robert Hohman Glassdoor CEO and co-founder.

According to sources the employees of other airlines like United Airlines, American and Continental gave a negative feedback to their employers and as a resulting could not reach glassdoor's list.

But for Delta Airlines is the second year in a row who won the award." It's a wonderful honor to receive this award again" said Glen Johnson Director for Staffing and Recruitment Delta Airlines.

Among the fifty companies which won the title of the best place to work distinguishes on the list Facebook which landing at No 2 and manage to obtain great feedback from its employees this year and upgrade its position from No 5 to No2. However the winner takes all the glory and so the first position belongs to Bain & Company because "it's a great place to work" as the volunteers said on Glassdoor's survey.Also the popular professional platform LinkedIn earned its stripes and gained a place on the list at No 8 but suffered a downgrade as last year 2016 war at No 6.
